||Facilities Engineering Manager
Expert advisor who will provide facilities engineering and optimization support to each of the producing districts in Sonora, Texas, the Texas panhandle, and northeast Oklahoma. Assist districts in developing and monitoring annual capital budgets for ongoing maintenance of existing facilities as well as new construction of upstream tank batteries and midstream pipeline/facilities. Monitor AFE vs. Capital costs for all facilities projects. Work closely with exploration and production teams to insure that wells are connected quickly and at the lowest cost. Work with marketing to insure adequate delivery capacity and optimum product pricing. Oversee the mapping, drafting, and modeling of the pipeline systems. Perform continual review of pipeline systems and facilities with the district field personnel in the respective locations. Communicate with exploration and development teams as necessary to ascertain the information needed to recommend facility expansion projects. Ensure adherence to all federal and state regulations. Support, develop and enforce safety, health and environmental company policies. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
Current job scope involves managing three facilities engineers, two support techs, and a GIS analyst. Candidate will be involved in hiring additional engineers and support personnel as this department expands into new areas.
Extensive knowledge of upstream and midstream facilities operations is required.
Successful candidate will be involved in upstream design and construction of tank batteries capable of production and treatment of high volumes of water and oil in northeast Oklahoma. Oklahoma midstream operations include design and construction of water (including SWDs), gas, and electrical infrastructure for a 35 well drilling program (30 producers, 5 SWDs) beginning in 2012.
Candidate will also be required to oversee upstream and midstream design and treatment of approximately 140,000 mcfd of gas production in the Sonora gas field. This field contains several thousand miles of low pressure gas pipeline, 70,000+ hp of three stage compression, minor H2S treatment, corrosion, scale, and loading/pigging issues. Facilities will also support a 3 rig program in this area in 2012.
Occasional travel is required in order to support the facilities staff in the Sonora field office.
Computer skills and basic experiences with word processing, spreadsheet, GIS software, and database applications are required.
B.S. in Engineering Desired
